1 of 4 finalists will be Michigan Technological University’s initially vice president
for diversity and inclusion. The finalists will job interview on campus commencing the
7 days of Aug. 24. They were chosen after a nationwide search that commenced past drop.

Roberto Sanabria will visit from Wednesday, Sept. 2, to Friday, Sept. four. Sanabria is the senior director
of human resources and equity at the Puerto Rican Cultural Heart in Chicago. Prior
to that, he served as director of the Business office of Equivalent Opportunity and Entry at Northwestern
University. Sanabria’s Zoom webinar will take put at 3 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 3. 

The past finalist to visit will be Sumita Furlong, who will be on campus Tuesday, Sept. eight, by Thursday, Sept. 10. At current,
Furlong is the distinctive assistant to the vice chancellor, college student affairs, for diversity,
equity, inclusion, strategic setting up and initiatives, and external relations at the
University of California-Irvine. Furlong earlier served as the main diversity
officer at the Good Lakes Faculties Affiliation in Ann Arbor. Furlong’s Zoom webinar is at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. nine.
