Lufthansa tweeted that Apple’s tracking devices ended up frowned on in checked baggage, but then did a rapid 360 and claimed that the AirTag, with its reduced transmission electrical power and battery, did not pose basic safety challenges.

The corporation issued a tweet that now allows its use. It was unusual how the airline regarded as the AirTag unsafe in flights despite intercontinental restrictions expressing they have been not.

Tweets started circulating the online when the airport mentioned that they have been ‘banning activated AirTags from luggage’ as they have been deemed ‘dangerous and need to be turned off’.

Then, the firm defined how baggage trackers are subject to unsafe items restrictions according to ICAO rules. Lufthansa suggests deactivating the trackers during the flight if it is related to checked baggage.

As it turns out, the reference to the battery regulation was off because it suggests that the battery has to be a lot more than two grams in buy to be integrated.
